Release of StreamProbe v10.0: What’s New?
TestTree releases multiple updates for its products along the year, but this new version for StreamProbe feels different. In this article, we will present what is new with StreamProbe v10.0 and how to get more information.
The v10.0 version of StreamProbe is an update, which means existing setups can be upgraded to v10.0 if your system is covered by a maintenance contract. Here are some of the new features available with StreamProbe v10.0:

New User Interface
At TestTree, we know the challenges of operating different systems everyday. We believe that our products must be easy-to-use, and we work continuously to improve the user experience of our products’ interfaces.
The main StreamProbe UI views have been redesigned for a better look and feel. Your workflow is the same, with a more user-friendly interface.
Monitoring Dashboard
We are proud to present the new version of the monitoring Dashboard,
which displays an at-a-glance status of all the streams monitored by StreamProbe.
Mosaic
We also refreshed the Mosaic Settings screens, with a dedicated menu.
In this menu, you will find all your usual settings in a more readable layout.
Closed Caption CTA-708 Monitoring
Essentially used in the American markets, closed captions are time-synchronized text that reflect an audio track, and can be read while watching visual content.
They are created to allow deaf and hard of hearing people to experience the video. In addition to characters’ dialogue, they include background sounds and notification for speaker changes.
StreamProbe v10.0 brings monitoring of CTA-708 Closed Captions. Dedicated alarms and logs are available, as well as the real-time display of the decoded text.
Audio Uncompressed 2022-6 SD and HD Monitoring
SMPTE ST 2022-6 is a standard describing how to send digital video over IP. To simplify, the industry often refers to it by SDI over IP.
StreamProbe already supports ST 2110 streams monitoring: refer to the dedicated product page for more information.
In StreamProbe v10.0, we added the support of Audio uncompressed 2022-6 SD and HD monitoring, with dedicated alarms and logs.
