TestTree supplies Bouygues Telecom with StreamProbe for monitoring their Linear TV and nPVR streaming services

Rennes, France – October 21st, 2025 – TestTree, a leader in Video Streaming and monitoring, announces today that Bouygues Telecom operates TestTree’s StreamProbe for 24/7 monitoring of their Linear TV and nPVR streaming services. Bouygues Telecom is a French all-round operator of digital communications and services. Bouygues Telecom had a total of 27.1 million mobile customers, 5.3 million fixed customers and sales of 7.8 billion euros.

In order to improve their customer service and satisfaction, Bouygues Telecom needed a solution which would provide a rapid detection of errors – even before they affected service to the point that subscribers noticed and called customer support. They also wanted a solution which would allow for them to quickly investigate the cause of the issue and rapidly fix it, in order to improve their reaction time.

Bouygues Telecom chose StreamProbe to monitor hundreds of OTT streams after the packager. This currently includes 50 HLS services & 50 DASH services per platform, with the aim of quickly reaching 300 of each. StreamProbe supports two formats (HLS & DASH) and the installation boasts two platforms for redundancy. StreamProbe also monitors nPVR (network Personal Video Recording) streaming services by providing manual or scheduled ABR assets quality check via configurable monitoring campaigns. High level statistics are provided for an evaluation of the library’s quality, with possibility to drill down to each asset’s analysis details and pin-point the faulty sequences.
