TestTree partners with IGETEL to deploy StreamProbe IPTV monitoring for CLARO Honduras
Rennes, France – June 15, 2026 — TestTree, in partnership with local reseller IGETEL, is proud to announce the successful deployment of its StreamProbe IPTV solution for CLARO Honduras, a subsidiary of the America Movil Group. This strategic implementation at the Video Operation Center (VOC) in San Pedro Sula provides comprehensive Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring for +200 IPTV channels.
The project was driven by CLARO Honduras’ objective to implement a highly specialized video monitoring system to oversee its video network. By leveraging StreamProbe’s robust software-based architecture, CLARO now has full visibility across every vital stage of its video delivery chain, from the master head-end down to encoding, processing, and distribution.
Delivering Flawless Video Quality
To guarantee a premium viewing experience for subscribers, the StreamProbe deployment enables 24/7 QoE monitoring of audio and video services. The system is configured to instantly detect critical defects, such as frozen images, black screens, or silent audio. Furthermore, the platform delivers real-time QoS alerts at the IP, RTP, and FEC levels, supporting a high-density capacity that scales to meet the demands of CLARO’s extensive Multicast traffic.
Key features of the newly deployed system include:
- Centralized Mosaic View: Operators can monitor all services simultaneously on a live thumbnail wall, fully customizable to display audio levels, subtitles, and specialized alert groupings.
- “Penalty Box” Monitoring: Isolates and frames automatically any service experiencing a fault, triggering a recording of the stream before and after the error for deeper root-cause analysis.
- Advanced Recording and Reporting: The system provides automated content quality reports to validate Service Level Agreement (SLA) commitments, alongside detailed historical statistics and fault graphs.
Video Wall Integration
As part of the VOC upgrade, the StreamProbe centralized web interface powers a brand-new, ultra-thin bezel Video Wall. The physical installation features six 55-inch ultra-high-definition (3840×2160) screens configured in a 3×2 layout. This setup provides CLARO’s engineering team with a continuous, full-screen mosaic of channels and real-time alarms, dramatically reducing response times and optimizing maintenance operations.
